Shimao Star Hotels Group is set to unveil its first YUTOPIA brand hotel at Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province, China this August. Combining local natural features and traditional Chinese culture, the new hotel will create a hidden gem for special stay during natural scenery sightseeing.

Both architectural and interior design perfectly integrate picturesque mountains and rivers with the aesthetics inherited from Song Dynasty. Embellished with water features, the hotel will include 199 Neo-Chinese-Style rooms, indulging guests with culture of Song Dynasty. Among them, 143 rooms will offer a panoramic view of the beautiful Wuyi Mountain with extended terraces open to the outdoors, while the other 56 are villas equipped with standalone courtyard, hot spring or swimming pool, covering about 150-260 square meters. Besides elegant rooms, the hotel consists of many more spaces with multiple functions, such as, 600-sqm meeting space including one banquet hall and two multifunctional conference rooms, gym, swimming pool, spa, pottery club, etc.

YUTOPIA will grow its portfolio in the coming years and bring traditional Chinese culture to more natural wonders and tourist destinations, including Sheshan National Forest Park in Shanghai and Indonesian island Lombok.
